Does anyone know what this means?

I've gotten the following email for the third time in the past three days from admin@aiesec.net:

Dear User,
You are in I2A stage for more than 60 days.
Please verify and update your stage

And that's it! It doesn't say anything about TNs or EPs, or what an I2A stage is, or HOW do even do what they are asking. When I replied to the email, I got an error message saying my email was automatically rejected.

The repetitive/vague emails are starting to make me think something bad will happen if I don't figure this out ASAP...

Guys, I'm really sore

A few months back I promised my friend Brett I would be his running buddy in the half marathon coming up at the end of May. Considering that today was the first time I have gone running since accepting the 13 mile challenge, I doubt (actually, am 100% sure) I will not be participating this year.

I made it around the Capitol and back without feeling like I was going to die, but not without walking slowly for a while so I could watch the bike race that was going on around the Square (as well as rest my aching leg muscles and give my hookah smoke-filled lungs a break). Looks like I won't be running in Crazylegs either this year.

Now that it is finally nice and warm outside, I really don't have an excuse to not work out. But it might be about 3 weeks before I actually enjoy a 2 mile run.

Official goodbye to winter

Today we desnowflaked the apartment and boxed up the 58 hand-made, individually cut, glitter-tastic, paper snowflakes. We also took down the 7 balls of strategically placed mistletoe and the giant baby blue dreidel. Hopefully we've now opened the gate for spring to come and stay.

So I guess you caught me procrastinating

I'm pretty obsessed with gchat, so I really am not looking for another way to message people online. So when Facebook came out with this new Facebook chat the other day I was just like, ohhh fb, here's yet another way for people to stalk each other and be creepers.

Facebook does come in pretty handy when you need to take a break from homeworking, but last night as I was breaking from studying for my Spanish exam, the chat box popped up on my screen. And I was like noooo, you aren't supposed to know that I'm procrastinating for probably at least the 5th time in the past two hours! I was caught red-handed being unproductive.

Facebook chat definitely lost some points with me last night.

sleep tight

Last night I spent my last hour or so at the library reading about the Sabra Chatila massacre that took place in Lebanon in 1982. The article my professor gave us was extremely graphic; it was about a journalist's experience in the refugee camps right after the killings (literally, only hours after) trying to find out who was responsible. My professor warned us to not read it on a full stomach since the details were extremely gory. I'm pretty sure I was eating a Twix bar as I was reading... She should have told us not to read it within only a couple hours of going to bed. Last night I had nightmares totally related to the article and slept horribly and kept waking up. I can't really remember any of the details of these bad dreams, but I do remember that they were bad. And they probably added to me not being able to get out of bed until I hit the snooze button for at least the 6th time.

I hope tonight I don't have nightmares about Business Development... although that could actually be possible.

reallyyyy?

Today my Modern European Architecture professor spent the first 30 minutes of class telling us how a good paper (not a good blue book essay) is written. For example, he told us that the biggest problem with the sentence, "I mean, it's a really good house," is the word "really".

A paper is not one of the requirements written in the syllabus for the class. And even after his random mini lecture, he still did not assign a paper.

Whyyyy did I take this class?

senioritis

I have it. I thought spring break would help, which it did a little, but I think that the only cure might be graduation.

I also had senioritis my senior year of high school pretty bad. But I've noticed that there is a huge difference between high school senioritis and college senioritis.

High School:
I barely ever went to first and second hour. Homework/studying was only ever done during study hall or lunch (...if I wasn't too busy socializing). The only important classes were my AP ones... and Fashion Sewing. I stopped going to track practice every day. I hope my dad isn't reading this...

College:
I only skip class every once in a while. And it's never to sleep in, because I have no morning classes. I go out on weekdays, and weekends. I stopped running, but it's not because I don't feel like it, it's because I don't have time. I go to the library a lot. I'm never at home because I'm off working on something... school or AIESEC-related. I seems that the major difference between college and high school senioritis is that right now, I'm still trying to do well in school. I still care about my grades. But it's as if I'm not mentally capable to handle schoolwork anymore. My exam scores aren't as high as they should be. It's like I forgot how to study or retain information or be a good test taker. I think my brain is telling me that a break longer than a summer is more than necessary.

In other news:
I hate April Fool's Day. It is because of today that makes me wish I wasn't so blonde.
